Lazy villagers smelling ability

It always cracks me up whenever a lazy villager says they smell something you're holding in your pockets, like a shirt or a piece of furniture.

I love when they send that letter in the mail that says something like "I smelled something baking yesterday so I'm writing everyone in town to see if they need help eating it". Ugghhh I love my chubby little elephant <3

Lazy villagers are my favorite because of this and their love of food (bonus that I'm really lazy myself, ha!).

I remember seeing a post on the dirty screenshots thread that said:

"I smell a banana. It's yours isn't it?"

Now the fruit banana I guess it might make sense, but I didn't think the other banana had a scent.

Actually electronic stuff DOES tend to have a bit of a smell, especially when new. In fact a lot of things have a scent and you don't even realize it~

Although I am very surprised they can differentiate xD

I think it's a cute thing. I've never been the hugest fan of the Lazy personality but they have their adorable moments.

Actually now that I think of it dogs have an astounding sense of smell and they can smell scents on EVERYTHING, so if a dog lazy said that it would make a lot of sense.
