Laying paths is such boring work. :(

I put down paths, still don't really like them that much. Only put it down because all my friends and some visitors complained it was to difficult to find things in my town. Just use the map guys.

yeah, seriously, sometimes i find towns that are overcrowded with paths and flowers and stuff makes it harder to find things. I'm just laying down this path cause i think it's awesome!

I hate having to make alts in order to put down more paths. I wish we had more than 9 design slots...

I personally don't mind. It's just a few design slots. I make my own paths, don't tell me that all I do is search through tumblr all day to find paths. I don't do that, I had no type of reference to do it either.

It is boring. xD It's pretty time consuming too. BUT! It definitely pays off.

I just stick to something simple, paths that have one or two patterns. I'd really like the ones with the borders but then you'd have to create another resident and I just couldn't be bothered. xD

yeah the pattern i'm laying down right now has 12 design slots so i have to use an alt but i dont have the QR macine on the alts yet and it's like i have all these empty spaces haha.

I think paths add a nice touch if you get a good ath and theme going. The paths also are handy for keeping grass wear down...and finding things easily. It s still quite a chore with even narrow paths (1wide), mine is 2 and a huge chore,

the tumblr paths. Specifically the pink and white brick pattern,

Kinda why I made my own paths, that and I have stupid patience for pixel mapping...hmm.

Main reason I love paths: it cures GRASS BALDNESS!
The high traffic areas in my town are just puddles of dirt, which is kinda sad to see.

But then the trade off would be, aside from very few design slots left/ have to create alts,
you can't shake fruit trees freely when on paths as they'll just vanished into the void....

And I can't believe I actually enjoy laying paths.
After the initial trial n error, it gets really interesting. To me, the many benefits of paths outweights the boredom ^^

I do it for a little while each day. I can't stand doing it for very long. Mine is also very simple. Pretty, but simple.

I can relate. I wanted to put a pretty beach path on my beach and it took 3 months because of how quickly I would get bored and quit

Since I've reset though, I haven't even started laying mine down yet though.. waiting until I have all the villagers I want in the town before I start. cx

Exactly the reason I laid out paths in my town, I couldn't stand seeing those dirt paths.

While there are plenty of nice paths, I didn't like the idea of making more than one alt character just to put them on. I ended up using a simple brick path/waterway which I'm content with.

I love laying paths, too. I just hope that they co-ordinate well. I don't always see the problems others do, but then that's one reason the Dream Suite exists - to ask for help.

I don't find the laying tedious, tho, and I never did. I just find it frustrating that I don't always know how I should lay them out.

I sadly have 4 characters, and all 40 patterns are used. This realization made me think...

Not to me. I don't travel much and don't Dream Travel as often as I would wish. I don't have the time. I picked my paths from Tumblr because I have no artistic talent and for me, I love them in my town and don't make it to please other people. But I do get your point. I suppose if I see all the same paths if I traveled all the time I'd know where they came from!
