Everyone wants to be in Gryfindor which sort of makes the House a bit too over exposed and Hufflepuff is better because we are closer to the kitchen and thus have easier access to midnight snacks!

Hell yeah! Plus the way to get into the common room is really amusing, and the common room in itself is the coziest!
