Landscaping thoughts?

Hi everyone!
So I am in the middle of landscaping my town at the moment but I'm getting increasingly frustrated at what to do with the two long peninsula's at the top left and right of my town. There's not a lot of space, I think I can possibly fit in a smaller/narrower pwp but I can't think of anything at all and I was wondering if anyone had an ideas?


Or better yet, someone has this in their own town and I can gather inspiration in a dream?

I also have a long peninsula on one side, and I put a tower and video screen there, so that when you look from the... other side of the peninsula you can see them!! sorry I'm not the best at describing, but I took a pic and it's like this:

you can visit my dream town for a better idea, DA is in my signature

before I built the tower, I also thought about putting the lighthouse there so you could try that for the end facing the beach! the windmill would work well too

you could also just have a small... wooded?? area with a dirt path and maybe a bench or something in one of the peninsulas too!

That helped so much! Thanks nammie! I will check out your dream town asap! I'm actually pretty sure I've visited before and it's amazing! I really love the idea of being able to watch the screen! I could maybe even cut some stumps as little chairs on the other side like a movie theatre eee!

Also love the idea of a secret wooded bench, that sounds perfect! Thank you so much! Can't wait to try these things out! (Now if only someone could request the screen haha)

In my last town, I put wind farms all along the peninsulas. Costly, but it was nice to me.

your stumps idea sounds really cute too!! but yea overall I think tall PWPs that you can see across the river and hidden little nooks would look really nice

For my town I have one area like that and I've built the Reset Center there. My DA is in my signature under the extra spoiler if you want to see exactly. I like the idea of having tall PWPs there though.

Edit: as for my plans for that area Im leaning towards putting a town of cedar saplings there and making it a little forest with the reset center.

I also have two narrow strips of land at the top. I haven't really bothered with the right side yet, but on the left I put the campsite and a log bench to make it a cute little camping area. It's not finished yet, but feel free to take a look at it in a dream if you'd like.

I have two peninsula's like that in my town, my dream address is in my signature if you want to visit

I put the lighthouse at the end of one and I have a dirt path leading to it with a bench and trees along it and lots of flowers... I'm considering replacing some of the trees with topiaries though

The other side is a bit wider so I have a wider path lined with trees leading to one of my bridges with my rose breeding area at the end. I don't want to put anything permanent there because it's where I put temporary houses down when I plot reset

My strips of land are fairly small, so I used one side for the campsite. I don't exactly enjoy looking at it when it's empty, so it's in exile. Now as for the other side, it's pretty small, so I'm thinking an orchard or something along those lines.

And again, I have to say that I just love your map. It already has a "story" built into it with the placement of the town tree.

wowee, your town is gorgeous! and that's a really sweet idea, my campsite is on one of the peninsula's but it looks very bare right now, also loved how you connected the area with a bridge so it doesn't feel so isolated, i like that a lot! also like how it's surrounded by flowers and clovers<3

yeah your town map is just perfect, i like it a lot, especially the street at the bottom of your town, super cute!

My area like that is really small like it's 3-4 spaces wide so I just made it into a little forest area =3

Yeah, I have a similar thing going on in my town. It was troublesome at first because I didn't know what to do with the space until I planted a row of trees to give me some ideas. On the left corner I have a tropical fruit orchard, the geyser (being replaced with the hot spring in the future), and fairy tale clock and on the right side there's the fountain (will also be replaced with the bus stop) along with a row of fruit trees. Near the cliff I put up the zen bell.
