Someone should make a landscaping simulator, where you can make a map and put PWP in there so you can see how it will look and stuff. All PWP and items would be available so you can decorate. Something like RPG maker or some stuff like that. That would save a lot of time of resetting.

The thing is it would be extremely difficult to keep it true to the actual game, most probably. Something like that is pretty intricate, especially when you factor in Animal Crossing's rules.

I mean don't get me wrong I'd be thrilled if something like that existed. I'd use it extensively! And I'm sure some brilliant minds play this game and are capable of doing it. The issue is that projects like that are so demanding and time consuming, and often turn out to be thankless :c

If I knew how to code, I definitely would make it since I know how tedious it can be to plan a town and make it perfect (even though I personally didn't have any problems in my town, I did help a lot of my friends design their towns). If such a software existed, imagine if you were able to import your save data to the software and were able to see your town in it's current state while planning things on the software? :D I also think it would be cool if we were able to use our patterns for paths and such in the software to make designing path systems easier. :)

I think it would be cool to make something like that but not with the actual graphics from Animal Crossing (mostly for legal reasons). Maybe, instead, it could at least be a square by square planning grid for each room of a house and for a whole town (you could input where everything is in the town). I think it'd be fairly easy to code, if I sat down and actually learned to code. And I'd just make sprites of all of the items? It would at least be somewhat helpful!! I think?

Would it? I actually want to try to make something along these lines so input is good! What would you want to see in such a simulator? (And maybe I could have screenshot previews of the items, in the least.)

I'm excited about this possibility now! ! ??
