Landscaping ideas?

So, I'm planning on building a fairy tale-themed town, and I would really appreciate some help with landscaping! There are a few things I'm planning to use:

• trees - tons of them, especially perfect cherries! I want my town to have an enchanted-forest sort of vibe.
• all the fairy tale PWPs
• modern police station - it doesn't really fit with the forest-y vibe, I know, but I feel like maybe it would look better with the buildings? idk, I'm not 100% sure about which station I want yet.
• dirt paths - I've found some lovely tiles, but I think the soft look of dirt paths would be best for what I'm trying to achieve... I also don't want to fuss with picking out different tiles for each season, and I don't want to have to make a pattern mule.
• "fairy ring" - I'm planning on arranging some mushrooms in a circle somewhere in town... I'm not sure yet if I want to collect a bunch of famous mushrooms to better fit with the color scheme, or use a couple of different types...
• flowers- white/red/pink/yellow roses, white/red/pink/yellow lilies, pink/white carnations
• hydrangea bushes - both pink and blue, or maybe just blue, to offset all the pink and yellow flowers and the perfect cherries...?

In particular, I'm looking for suggestions for other types of flowers and fruit trees that would look good with what I've got in mind. Thank you all in advance for your help!

i'd recommend not using hydrangea bushes, as they are so dark, and in comparison to your more pastel fairy pwps it'd clash. also, lemon, orange and peach trees would match the pwps themselves, as well as olive and pink azalea bushes.

oh, wow... sweet olive bushes would definitely look better! not sure about the pink azaleas, though... they look pretty dark. the fruit trees sound awesome, though. I'd been kind of tentatively considering oranges, and now I'm pretty well set on them.
