Landscaping help!

Okay so there is one small area in my town that I put a hot spring in, I then wanted to surround it in bamboo and olive starts but there are not one but TWO dead spots that make everything uneven surrounding it and I can't think of what to do with the area now as I would ideally like to have the bamboo/olive starts around it. So if it's not too much trouble could someone (or more than one) come visit and have a look at the area and suggest how I could landscape around it to make it look nice (I would just post a picture but I don't have an SD card reader -.-

I think it'd be more efficient if you took a picture and uploaded from your DS or updated your DA. That way, people could see what's going on on their own time instead of having to go to your town (and maybe potentially being malicious)

if you need a picture, take a picture w/ L or R and then go on your gmail acc [or make one, only gmail works on 3ds] and compose the email to yourself w/ the picture.

The dead spot to the left isn't really noticeable, it hides well because of the tall bamboo. Maybe if you moved the hot spring 1 spot down? You're risking having different dead spots, but if there aren't any, maybe it'd be worth it? It's just that the left dead spot would not be able to make a full corner, you'd have two diagonal bushes making a corner.

Here's the picture, the two dead are the two gaps in the bamboo/olives. There is a two tile path 1 space away from each of the plants with flowers lining the right side and trees the left side (in case anybody needed to know)

it's not a dead spot, bamboos cannot grow diagonally from each other! this is my suggestion:

lighter green dots are bamboo, green clouds are bushes. blue dots are optional spots for bushes!

Does that count bamboo in that though? I thought it was only bushes with the 13th rule as they can be planted side by side?

Yes, it counts bamboo and trees in that rule too, since you can create a wall with bushes beside either of those.

I would either make a "back entrance" and then continue to build on that idea, or just dig up two symmetrical bushes from the sides (the "first" two) and replace them with nice flowers like Jacob's Ladders.
