over the past couple days, i've been completely revamping my town c: i've planted a bunch of saplings, rearranged some PWPs aaaand now i'm kinda stuck - especially on colour scheme, and picking out final few projects to fill up empty space.

i just updated my Dream Address (in my signature) so could some people check it out and tell me what they think? stuff you like, dont like, etc. i'll do the same for yours if you like!!

thanks guys!

Hey! Just checked your town, and don't worry, yes, it still very much a work in progress, but there's a lot of potential.

I guess the most important thing would be deciding what ~feel~ you would like your town to have. From that I think it's easier to figure out color schemes and PWPs. From the villagers you have and from the name of your town I'm guessing small, mysterious town, maybe something Twin Peaks-esque or Gravity Falls-esque? You already have the Sasquatch and the Mammoth to go with it!

There are also some zen elements which I actually think go very well with natural, mysterious forest towns.

On a more general note, when it comes to my town, I'm very much a micro-manager, so I plan every little detail in advance by placing designs around town indicating where I want bushes, trees and paths to go. So I guess the first thing you could do is plan the paths, doing that can give you a pretty nice idea of how much space you have to work with and you can already start thinking if you'd prefer a more city-like town or a more natural one. It helps get your imagination going!

Hope this was helpful! ;)

thank you, this was some really good advice! <3
i'm going for a spooky halloween-y vibe, i was actually thinking Gravity Falls when i made this town :') right now i'm tryna get enough clovers to define some natural paths, then I think I'm gonna try and figure out which flowers to use?? hmm

Oh I love halloween towns! Maybe use some orange cosmos and black hybrids around houses and other structures?

If you want, I have plenty of orange and purple hybrids in my town and I'd be happy to give some of them to you!

And one more question: are all the villagers in your town your permanent dreamies? Because if they're not, I could share the strategy I used to get all my clovers in my town,
thought it is a bit maniac and involves quite a lot of time traveling...

yoooo that sounds good, i'll try it!!
thank you for the offer! but I have a bunch of orange and black hybrids, so many I can't fit them in storage anymore omg - my issue is figuring out how to arrange them, nothing seems to look Right yknow

and yeah, my dreamies are all permanent! i think i'm gonna stick to buying clovers on these forums c:

Test some combinations out! Landscaping, although it's very hard to do and takes so much hard work and stress, has always been my favorite part of the game.

Good luck with your town! Let me know if you ever need any more help ;)
