So I found Sylvia's plot in town today. I looked up her house and I'm absolutely stumped on what flowers to use around it. Here's her house (not my town, I snagged this off the internet):

The colors are throwing me off. The hot pink fence is really what's making this difficult for me.

I usually decorate around a villager's house with 2 or 3 different flower colors that either coordinate with or compliment the colors of their house. White is a staple that I always try to incorporate. I often use roses but I don't have to stick to that.

Next to her house, I'm going to put the wisteria trellis as soon as it's requested. In front of the trellis, the path leads to a fountain surrounded by blue hydrangeas. I was thinking of putting either white and purple or white and blue flowers around the wisteria trellis...or all three.

I'm open to any flower suggestions except yellow or gold. I'm not using those colors in my town at all. Please let me know what you think.

Looking at it, you could do pink & purple tulips, pink & black tulips, or purple & black tulips. I think the shades of the colors would work really well with how the house is designed! :D

I would definitely use some purple flowers, maybe purple violets and black tulips. It would tone down the fence, pull up the color of the roof, and tie in with the bushes and trellis.

Thank you both! The purple and black really tones down the bright pink fence and also makes for a nice transition to my nearby areas.

You are absolutely welcome, I am glad to hear that color combination worked really well for you since the tulips are a darker shade in general. :)

I think you could do pink cosmos, purple pansies and orange tulips.
