Landmark!

Anyone in the beta for this game?

Perhaps you already know this, but Landmark is the creation tool (and currently stand-alone game, to some extent..) for the upcoming MMO EverQuest Next, where the players are designing a large portion of the world before the release of the game. I gave it a short try in the early Alpha and the tools to design the game with are fairly simple to use, which is nice. You also claim the areas you want to build in so that nobody else can ruin your creations, even though the world is otherwise inhabited by many people. But (at least back then) you had to gather materials before you could create your buildings and stuff, which took a little bit of grinding. Not sure if they've improved on that yet or not. It's worth giving it a try, in any case!
