My town isn't perfect or developed but "???" started to talk to me around the back of my house. It scared the **** out of me so be prepared lmao
Literally just walk around your town and this ??? will start to talk to you so don't start to look for a lamp on the floor

Maybe the players who already have it TT allot? because you need to TT to finish of the secret storrage and such. then we would have to wait till tomorrow to get it.

This may be the problem, I've never time traveled on my new town and I haven't heard from Wisp

I only had to skip one day ahead to get the lamp. I scanned the special kapp'n card from series 1, and got his picture, as well as 5 MEOW points. He said to make another wish tomorrow.

I TTed a day ahead after expanding, and read the manual (the part that talks about Wisp) and he appeared right after I left my house! I also TTed to 10PM, don't know if that makes a difference.

I expanded as well. I read the manual, followed all the instructions, and I TTed 10 days because a villager I wanted out wanted to move (apparently a villager now moves out 10 days ahead of when they say they're gonna move now??) and it's 4 pm in my town right now and I just encountered Wisp. I was just about to ask here if time made a difference like it did in City Folk (if you found Wisp's magic lamp), figures out not. Keep trying, he'll come by!
