Koalas.. Why No Love??

From every forum i have been too, the Koalas seem universally disliked.. why? they are rapidly becoming my favourite species along with the Sheep.. and Sydney and Ozzie i both want in my town, i also wouldn't mind Alice she was one of my best friends in WW and lived in my town for 3 years
How can people not find these cute?

I like the koalas! ^_^ Especially Melba, who is my sentimental favorite from Wild World. I have both Alice and Melba in my New Leaf town right now, and they're next-door neighbors, so I think that's pretty cute. I also like Yuka, a blue snooty koala. Not very familiar with the other koalas, though!

Sorry, I adore the koalas. They are my favourite species as well as goat and sheep. My favourite koalas are:
Koalas:
Ozzie
Gonzo
Huggy

Thank god Ozzie returned, I had them all in my town at one point but Ozzie and Huggy moved to my second town but I got Huggy back. I haven't been able to play for over three months and I hope Gonzo is still there
As for sheep, I love Stella (who has the pleasure of living in my town) and for goat, Iggy

I love them all but these are the ones who stand out

I actually haven't noticed how off-putting their noses were until it was mentioned in the above posts. That aside, the only Koala I would consider taking in is Melba because of her being more subtle looking than the others.

I remember reading that somewhere! huggy was my absolute favorite in ac and I adore Melba so it kind of makes sense ^^

I freakin' despise Melba and I'm not fond of Alice and Canberra.. (Yuka's warmed to me since WW)

But I'm known for loving Sydney and Eugene.. I absolutely adore both Ozzie & Lyman too <3 .. Some of my favourite villagers in the game

I also would love Huggy, Gonzo and Faith back (Faith looks similar to Melba, but.. Better)

Melba looks more like Faith than Huggy.. I don't understand the resemblance between Melba and Huggy, 'cos I don't see it at all
