King Tuts Mask?

Does anyone want to tell me, what's so special about the King Tuts Mask?

I bought one yesterday, and I know that it makes you trip a lot, and could be used to do a glitch in the old version, but since that's patched.. Is it just useless now?

I think it still makes you trip more often. I haven't heard anything saying that it doesn't.

I believe so, I reset my town though after the update [i updated early june] and haven't got the mask yet

I haven't heard anything about the glitch so I can't confirm, I totally forgot all about this.

I think you could walk in the river with the glitch.

It makes you trip more often!
If memory serves me right you can clip into a river with the help of a shovel and the mask. I pulled it off before the welcome amiibo update, but I haven't tried it again.
I'll be quite sad if it was patched though, as it was hilarious fishing while being half-submerged in water. B)
