King Tut Mask and Luck

When I hit my daily rocks yesterday I found a gold nugget but suddenly my character thought of a "royal" recipe: the King Tut mask! I quickly made the mask, walked around in it and suddenly fell after a few steps! Does this mean that luck is in the game? Or is it a nostalgic aesthetic? Hopefully this might means that Katrina comes back...

It's all still speculation. No one knows for sure yet if luck is in the game or not. For now, it seems like a nostalgic piece from NL. Dataminers might uncover information that proves that luck is back, but for now like I said, it's simply a 'We don't know' kind of situation. Considering Katrina hasn't been back yet, I personally don't think luck has returned.

Oh how cool! I really hope they're bringing her back. With all of the other old features they've been bringing back in updates it wouldn't surprise me if they added her back in!

King Tut mask always makes you fall and has always done so in each game in the series

Honestly this makes me feel like all the new features like the DIY and the gorgeous graphics took so long to code that they decided to add everything else in with free updates lol
I'm looking forward to seeing all the old NPCs back

If it was the dialog she has about horoscopes then it's not new, I've had it before this patch.​

Yeah i havent updated yet i dont remember it being about horoscopes but i didnt read the whole thing still shes talking about luck so thats cool

You can trip when using the King Tut Mask or balloons, but there's no indication about luck yet.

I really hope Katrina comes to animal crossing! I never played any of the other ac games (well, I played pocket camp for maybe two weeks) but from what I hear, luck is a pretty cool feature!
