It's a pretty amazing thing, kudos to the people with the patience to go through with making a walkthrough for it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there a game for blind people on Genesis or something?

I can agree that it's kindful helping a blinded player to beat that game. And yes, this is more hardcore challenge than clearing 100% of the game. If I were the blinded one, I would have trouble to beat it, unless I know every map by heart.
