I've seen quite a few differing opinions about Kid Icarus Uprising. Some people say it's terrible, others think it's amazing (I'm in this second category). What do you think about it?
Ehh, its alright. Found it kind of awkward to play because I'm left handed...I didn't get a chance to fiddle with the controls when I tried it though. I probably would have liked it if I did.
Personally, I have never played it, but I am debating on whether I should buy the game and included 3DS Stand or just the 3DS Stand. I'd like to have that stand whenever I can get Netflix to work on my 3DS, but I don't know if I should buy the game and stand...
Honestly, I have no problems with the controls. The single player mode is great and hilarious, the online mode is fun and one of the best for a Nintendo game, and there are so many weapons to choose from.
Overall I say 8/10 would definitely recommend
It's a great game, visually and gameplay wise.
The controls made it almost unplayable for me though.
I'm also left handed, like Heir, so that may be the issue more than the controls themselves.
I loved it!
The controls were a bit weird but after playing for a bit I got used to them.
I really liked all the voice acting in the game.
The stages had nice designs as well and some of the monsters were really colourful and cute. <3
And playing in multiplayer was really fun!
I've never gotten it{though I really want to after I get Pokemon X} but it looks really cool. I'm right handed, so I think the controls will feel weird at first then comfortable, like with the Circle Pad. I'm pretty sure you can adjust the controls if you're left handed.
I'm left-handed and the controls were fine. I beat this game, like, only a couple weeks after it came out YEARS ago. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone who hasn't played it.
I love it! Once you get used to the controls they're easy and good fun! The offline story is hilarious, the graphics are beautiful and online mode works smoothly and is good fun!
I thought the game was amazing. I thought Pit was a wonderful character in Smash Brothers so I was super excited when I got to play a game with him in it. I never got to play the original games.
Uprising has a nice story, and the controls were really easy for me to handle and it wasn't a challenge to figure everything out! The art style was wonderful and the character designs were great as well. The main villain was funny and I loved every minute of playing it!
Personally I think it's worth getting just for the conversation between characters. I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a game. Yes, the controls are a little awkward at first, and it's difficult to play for long period of time (although it's a lot better with a 3DSXL) but it's definitely worth buying.
