Keeping my catalogue after selling town?

So I was selling my town when Nook said I would have a blank catalogue weather I sell it or not. But I read on GameFAQs that I will still have my catalogue after selling the town, if I didn't sell it, it just won't have Gracie stuff on it anymore.

Can someone verify that I WILL keep my catalogue if I choose not to sell it? I don't care that the Gracie stuff won't show up, but I want to be able to order all the regular stuff.

yes, i reseted myself and i chose to keep my catalog, when i upgraded to the convenience store everything was still there.

Ah thank you so much! Wow that was quick. Now I can go back to selling my town.

My catalogue was worth a whopping 45k+, but the mayor has the gold catalogue badge, my others dont. So I kinds really need here to keep her catalogue.

Yes you'll keep it. I always find it helpful to not sell the catalogue!

buy a bunch of letter packs,sell them, then buy again you'll get to the mark in no time

Oh I didn't think of stationary. I was just buying the furniture and the occasional cookie thou I'm like 99% sure those don't count. I just needed to use my 290 playcoins, the system maxes out at 300 :/ Pretty lame.
