I'm having my first bad luck day in the game too, but I don't run too much so it's not annoying. I find it cute. I love face-planting on the beach and seeing the big mark I leave behind!

Definitely try finding a person with Katrina and seeing what she says.

That happened to me yesterday! I guess on some days in the game, you'll randomly get bad luck. I'll assume it'd go away if you remembered your lucky clothes from the last time Katrina visited, but I just waited until the next day and it went away on it's own.

Those clothes are unlucky also. Also the marine suit is considered an accessory, not clothing. it doesn't affect the luck of clothing much.

Try moving things around your house. Feng Shui seems big in this iteration of the game.

Katrina was in my town today which is weird.

She said the key is sunglasses so I bought the Triangle Shades and put them on straight away.
This seems to have cured the problem, or stopped me falling over at least xD
