I got Katt from someone on here and I'm already don't like her. I've been plot resetting her house for the last 15 minutes and she is determined to live in spots that are not designated for houses. She's just DETERMINED. I have a system set up and she's ruining it. I'm really annoyed right now

Sorry to hear that, I've been there. Maybe take a break and keep trying - it's possible the game doesn't deem any other free spots 'free' but you never know. Hope it works out!

Put random custom designs everywhere you don't want her house! The WA update prevents villagers moving on top of custom designs. Pick up some of you flowers, store them in your pockets and spread a custom design down. You can later erase the design and replant the flowers after Katt is safely moved in. And trust me, I feel your pain. ;-;

I have paths all over my town except in certain areas for my villager to live but she keeps finding the three areas I didn't put enough paths and plots her house there. She only plots in the same 3 areas, never in the 4 areas I DO want her house to be in, only in the 3 areas I DON'T want her house.

This is BEYOND frustrating.

Well at least I know where to put paths,. She is going to move to one of the 4 designated spots, even if it takes me all day plot resetting. She is NOT ruining my hard work.

HappyTails, go change your 3DS time. Make it a day behind. Go where she's plotting (on your character) and then place some designs. And then once you place the paths, save. Then make it a day forward. Go to ACNL and start plot resetting again. Katt is one of the best Uchis out there. I hope she works out for you.

I just got done moving out two villagers and moving them back in. I know the frustration.
The houses where the two villagers, Shari and Deli, were didn't fit the flow of my town.
I also then replaced two villagers with different villagers and put them in a different spot.

Oh my gosh, she plots in spots that right near where I want her but not on the actual spot.

Yes, it's coming to the point I'm about to time travel to get this to work the way I want. She's not going to bounce into my town and ruin my hard work.

What time yesterday should I travel to? Also, which character? My mayor or should I make a new character?

The same thing happened to me with Boomer except I didn't notice his house plot until he had already built his house. I'm really looking forward to him moving away.

Just time travel a day behind. Don't do hours.

Don't time travel on ACNL but with your 3DS.

I feel you. I reset my town because I didn't want to TT (and I wanted to take your vow but with my mayor only, since I realized I almost never play with my alts, so it doesn't hurt me that much) and it's torture. Complete torture, because Lucy (Idk where I got her, but I hope they're glad to be away from her) decided to move in the exact spot I didn't like her to move in, even if I had like ten thousand spots for her to plot, but no, she wants that spot where I was planning to place my last character's home. And now I just want her to move out immediately

I don't time travel either, but I made an exception this time. I spent a lot of time on my landscaping and I'm not going to let a random villager come in an ruin my hard work. No, not happening. No then the villagers that plotted like that (in bad spots) take the longest to move. No, I'm not dealing with that. Not in Ossipri.

I hope you did so within your 3DS's system settings...

Really, though: I totally know how you feel: I made a mistake of making a spot with path patterns that I thought a villager would move in, only to find out she wouldn't move there. Every spot she would then chose would be horrible - and most of the time it was next to my house. :/

In such, I did the 3DS date-changing trick, just to relocate the paths to get her moved in properly. I never felt guilty of this, even though I never time travel: My entire town's design was under total risk of collapse, so this was a drastic measure to do!

I changed the date within my 3DS system systems and it all worked out. I'm still a little annoyed that I had to do all of this just to get her to plot where I wanted her, but I'll get over it soon.

Yeah, it is annoying. I think the extra work is worth it to have her house in a good place though. Now she won't be ruining your landscaping :)

That's really annoying. Atleast she's done now so your patterns aren't ruined. It'd be worse if you couldn't change where she would go. Now you don't need to write her mean letters or hit her with a net on her head whenever you'd see her or plant pitfalls everywhere around her home.

I know that feeling of getting a random move ins from the void >______> At least you have the chance to plot reset her and not be surprised! I think all that annoyance from plot resetting is worth it since she won't completely ruin your town and plus since you don't time travel, it'll save you the annoyance down the road when she doesn't exactly want to move ^^
