So in my cycling town I had Katrina. Then i time travel day by day. Katrina was there EVERYDAY. Then i time traveled a full week and she was still there!
What is going on!!!

This occurs when Katrina is ready to move-in to mainstreet, much like a camper whom will move-in 2 days after being invited. But unlike a camper Katrina won't stay in your village. She will remain in her tent until you construct her suggested fortune shop in the abandoned store on mainstreet.
