Okay I feel like an amateur here, but this little kitty called Katie just showed up in my town and asked me to take her to a town, I've played this game for over a year and I've never seen her before ?? XD anyway what do i do with her, just travel to a town and she'll tag along or??

Yes, just visit another town and she'll turn up in that town in a few days. She'll send you a letter the day after you took her to another town, the letter will have a gift attached to it, a gift that you can only get from Katie.
