K.K. slider asked me to write a birthday letter—a bday that already happened

my 2nd villager celebrates birthday on july 1st, it’s july 4 and he asked me to write a letter AGAIN. what? is this a glitch?

I think it is a glitch. A couple of people on this site had a similar issue sometime ago.
