just thought of a cute idea ♡

so i had only just come up with this now

i thought i saw roscoe on my beach, even though he'd moved out, but it was actually reneigh aha

but imagine if maybe once a week, a random villager you used to have would visit your island, like in new leaf when they came to main street
this would be so cute especially since i get really attached to villagers i have but i've had to get rid of so many ♡

aw yes i would love this! i think it made more sense in new leaf because main street felt more urban than the rest of the town, but i'd still like to see this.

i had maddie as my starting peppy and i had a high friendship level with her but i accidently told her to move ;-;
i have her amiibo so i can get her back whenever but her friendship would reset so it wouldn't be the same so i would actually love to reinvite old villagers ♡

Yeah, it's sad when villagers you really love move away. I had Al and he moved. I don't think he's super popular or anything, but he grew on me and I was sad when he decided to leave. I'd like to have him move back in, even though I know it won't be the same Al.

I’d love that but I think I’d have a heart attack if one day I randomly saw Raymond out and about on my island. (I’m not crazy about him or anything, but his existence is like Pandora’s Box...)

I'd probably laugh if that happened. My island is basically a forest and would be the last place I would expect to see Raymond walking around.

tbh i did have hippeux, merengue, dom and agnes on my island around the time i started and would hate to run into them again

I think it actually makes more sense in this game. for some reason, before this game came out I just accepted it as fact that tourists were going to be a thing for some reason. I think it makes a lot of sense for an old villager to come visiting, after all, friends can visit your island temporarily to hang out

mayhaps it could be based on how good of friends you were, then if you say goodbye to a villager you really liked you'll still find em hanging out from time to time
I also think it would be cool if campsite villagers could go outside. they talk about how pretty the island is and yet they seem to think it's a good idea to just sit in a tent for 24 hours. vacation well spent lmao

that’s a cute idea, i wasn’t a huge fan of seeing old often ugly villagers on my main street but if you got attached to them it would be nice to have them visit sometimes. maybe they could stay st the campsite or something
