Pokémon Just started pokemon snap

Hey! I just started pokemon snap and plunge a few hours into it. I got a few diamond 4 star photos, which is neat, but im still confused on certain challenges... Can anyone tell me the tips and tricks for beginners? I would be very happy! Thank you very much! Looking forward to it :3

I completed the photodex right after it came out and I had to watch a BUNCH of youtube videos because some of the challenges are so specific. The good thing about the challenges is that some of them do get you the 4 star diamond photo. Like they are ridiculously specific. One, you have to throw a bunch of apples at a hole in the wall to get charmanders to come out. If you have any questions though, I can help. I never played the new maps, but I know the old ones. You're gonna have to play through the same lanes a bunch to complete if thats what you wanna do. I was bored so I did it.
