I realized I haven't been playing for a few months. When I started playing again, I realized how cute my town is and the endless effort I had put in to build such a town. I feel so sad all of a sudden. Has anyone felt the same? I used to play ACNL intensively, but now, I don't even feel like grabbing my DS anymore :(

Feel free to visit my DA. But, it is being abandoned now.

I had that once, I just reset it :/

The reason I don't want to reset it is because ... I don't want to "throw away" my current town, considering the endless time and effort I had put in to build it in the past. Also, I definitely want to keep my favorite villagers: Goldie, Fang, Stitches, and Marina. Sigh.

I feel that way now. I would feel way too sad to just reset all the hard work I put into my town and I don't think I would keep playing if I just started over. I do have a hard time picking up my 3DS cause I know I'll just have to do damage control when I start the game. I'm not really sure how to change it, but I know every Animal Crossing game just gets old for me at some point and the fun will start all over again when a new game comes out.

But I know a new game won't be out for a whiiiilleeee... But Happy Home Designer comes out soon so that could keep me preoccupied until a new AC game comes.

Yea, I read an article regarding Happy Home Designer. But, I don't what it is though.

It's not like New Leaf. You won't be the mayor and go fishing and all that stuff, but you'll bring in villagers and design their homes with furniture. And you can unlock buildings and design them to be hospitals or schools. It's mainly a designing game. A lot of the details are still unknown, but it's just a spinoff game. So don't buy it expecting a brand new Animal Crossing game like New Leaf was.

a lot of people having grown bored of the game. I played it for not even a year b4 getting bored of the game and even adding in a second town towards the end hasn't helped. I've made multiple attempts to get back into the game via the Day by day TT catchup method but I get bored after a few game days. My town is so far behind, in early SEPTEMBER, at the moment. I actually thought about trading it in but I don't want to just get rid of all that hard work.

It's good to take a break from it though. I got it for Valentine's last year, played it for 2 weeks and then got bored of it. 2 months later I started it up again and New Leaf ended up taking over my life last summer. Then I stopped playing around November and didn't REALLY get back into it until earlier this month.

Even if I take breaks from NL, I always make sure to check in once a month to get the presents and pick any weeds if they've popped up.
