I experianced something really similar when my best friend moved to Japan for 3 yrs. She came back but she's moving to Virginia next year. She never checks her email either. Any way, this is about you, not me. I hope you and your friend stay close.

I'll be experiencing something exactly like that within the next month. I'm really good friends with this foreign exchange guy, Tim, from Germany, and he goes back to Germany on January 23, 2010. He's really popular at my school. He's really hot and has a lot of girl friends and guy friends and we're all going to miss him. After 1/23/10 none of us will ever see him again
