i havent been on this website in YEARS! that being said i also havent played animal crossing in years. so i just reset my town and just logged into this account for the first time in a very long while. since my animal crossing knowledge is a little rusty, if anyone has any tips or advice for restarting/starting a new town, please add to the thread. i'll try to be more active on here, but that reminds me that i now have to change my signature and all of the info in my profile regarding my old town.

anyways, leave tips/advice for restarting below! thanks!

heyo! i returned here recently after a long time myself. so! welcome back!
i don't really have any tips of restarting myself. i have done it so often though.
i guess you could reset until you got a dream villager or something!

yeah i ave not played for a while either and recently picked up again. i will say dont settle for just any town if u care about the placment of things and the map. thought i wouldnt care and played for a week or two and ended up not being able to get over the map, i hated it so i ended up restarting and hated i lost the progress i made. so keep trying again until u get one you really like. and for me, i learned last time i hate time traveling. you end up getting things too fast and it gets boring, instead of waiting for things like normal u just get it right away and ends up nothing left to play for. but thats just my opinion, i dont time travel anymore cause it made it boring last time and thats why i quit.

Welcome back!
I also don?t have many tips for restarting towns since you probably know all the usual stating-advice (e.g. "did you know you can stack fruit? crazy right?").
My advice would be to hold off on the permanent PWPs untill you have a plan for your town. Start organizing your villager houses as early as possible (if you are into that), so you have less trouble placing down roads and can easily move in dreamies on the same spot later when you are at that part of landscaping^^ Also, in case you are starting with a fresh catalogue, get yourself an app or make an account at MoriDB so you can start registering the items you own/have in your catalogue as soon as possible. That will help with trading and it will save you a lot of work later on^^
