You know, I never really have plot reset. I never needed to. I have a bunch of open spaces where there's plenty going on that doesn't need me to regulate where villagers place their houses.

And then this happened.

In the middle of my path, right in a cluster of trees, and in front of a freaking bridge-- Are you kidding me??

after cube plotted down right in front of the bridge only leaving two spaces in between I started to plot reset! I never wanted that to happen ever again.

I'm in the same spot as you. I never bothered to plot reset. And then I got Marshal.

His plot appeared 1 space in front of Re-tail (blocking almost all of it), 1 space to the right of a rock and 1 space to the left of pond. And... in the middle of a path. It was also the only area I had cultivated at the time. It still pains me to look at his house there, but I'm learning to work around it. I was at least able to do some damage control and make the area look nice (albeit still cluttered).

But yeah- I always plot-reset now.

Ugh, how ****ty! At least it's a cute picture (▰˘◡˘▰)

Side note: I had no idea I would be automatically censored! Sweet. Hopefully it will prevent my filthy mouth from getting me into trouble.

It's an adorable picture. But on a serious note, I feel your pain. I hate things right in front of the bridge. Especially if there's lots of vacant land, why not there instead of on your path? So sorry. :(

and thats why you plot reset everyday when you have less than 8 villagers...if you care about your town layout that is

sorry that happened though...i've been waiting for months to place a bridge in this area u.u right now its currently being blocked by 2 villagers im desperately waiting to move out ;-;

Sorry that happened... I always plot reset for my villagers whether they're random move-ins or campers moving in... sometimes I get so bored from doing it that I stop playing for several days... D:

Did you mean: Lucky

Luckily for me (no pun intended but I'm glad it exists), I'm redoing the area anyways once I finally get Wolfgang to suggest the wooden bridge. He's right on the path I lined with trees and flowers, ugh.

When i have less than 10 villagers I ALWAYS make sure to plot reset. Luckily for me, i realized I should plot reset before anything happened. Can never be too careful!

This. I woke up to this in my kid's town. It makes me want to cry. Also I had NO idea anyone was moving in since I already have 9 villagers. I was trying to get Cookie as my 10th. *sigh*

Same. I have this space and usually villagers plot there. I welcomed Gayle from my campsite, wasn't sure if I'd keep her or not, thought she'd move into one of those plots and she's right in front of retail now... ugh.. she also trampled six gold roses.... urgh. Now I doubt I'll keep her long.

I feel your pain. I had a similar experience in my former Gem Isle town. Caroline moved from Cat Cove and put her house smack dab beside the mayor's house. She took out a bunch of hybrids and a beautiful water path. She had to squeeze her house in between the wall and the house where there was literally no room to do so. Made me angy so I demolished the entire town.

Whenever I feel like I'm wasting my life plot resetting, I remember the time streetpass reject Dizzy moved directly in front of my house and find the energy to keep going.

Really sorry to see that happened...hope you can come up with a livable workaround for the situation later.
Or you will replace that villager by cycling them out. =__=

^ Basically this.
Whenever I feel like I'm wasting my life plot resetting, I remember the time the adorable Clay planted his house literally 2 steps from my door. There are 30,000 acres of empty land around town, no PWPs, no nothing, but out of all the available spaces, the game had to mess me up by choosing that one tight spot right in front of my house.

That was when I first started playing ACNL, and haven't really looked into plot resetting.
I was naive enough to allow random move-ins and 'natural' gameplay.
Never again. :D

Sorry about that :/

On a different notice, I really love your paths!! Did you make them yourself?

I've had much worse. Since I have 3 mules + my mayor, I have no option of plot resetting.

Ankha moved in right beside me; and zucker is blocking the path to the beach.
