I just bought mine last Tuesday for 30 dollars on Ebay. They're japanese versions by the way. I really wanted the UK ones but they're really expensive. So I just resorted to the Japanese ones instead because they're cheaper. Since they're not region locked I'm happy either way. Can't wait to make my own Hello Kitty Island Adventure Town playing as Mayor Butters (Butters from South Park). For a bunch of cards that you can't get anywhere else in the U.S, 30 bucks for all 6 cards is worth the money.
I'm glad you were able to buy what you wanted, I hope you enjoy them! To answer your question, I don't really plan on buying the cards. I already have my 10 favorite villagers in my town, and most of the Sanrio furniture isn't really my style. I think they are definitely a cool collector's item, but I'm not a card collector and just buy some packs for fun, so I don't really care to buy them!
Sigh, my set got lost in the mail. I ordered from GAME on Nov 16th, got my shipping confirmation on Dec 5th, but still haven't received them =/ I have a refund request going already, just disappointed now Xc
I haven't bought them yet, because I haven't found a place where they sell them and when I find it they never have a suitable price! I don't know if I will buy them, because it seems really difficult to even find a seller! But the Sanrio villager and the Sanrio items are so cute! I want them so much...it's a very hard challenge. :/
I've had mine since late November. I preordered them from the Nintendo UK website for ?5 as soon as I saw they were available. I love Sanrio crossovers, I wanted these so badly when I found out they existed, and I'm thankful that Nintendo has finally given EU something nice. The scalpers have hit these so badly though, ridiculous prices in most places.
