Kirakuna means carefree in Japanese. I think it's just a nice name that could go with any town, though I'm envisioning a more relaxed, natural town myself.
Ananta means eternal in Nepali. Again, it's a really loose name that could go with any town.
As for mayor names, I like Aliyyah, Isra, and Sabri (all Arabic names I really like)

Arcadia/Acadia/Acacia, perhaps? Any one of them sounds nice to me. Or if there's a specific series you like, you could get a mayor/town name from that. Male mayor names I like are Rutger and Miles, and females are Poppy, Acacia, Lily, Alisa, Lina... I don't know which gender your mayor's gonna be; the names on the OP were pretty gender-neutral if you ask me, but I might need to double-check. Sometimes I miss simple stuff for reading too fast, haha.
