I just saw pictures on Instagram of the July 3rd update and it looks so exciting! You can swim and dive, Pascal's there, there is mermaid furniture! Anyone else seen this?

That sounds very exciting indeed! I wonder if it's the same like New Leaf when you catch a scallop during a dive, Pascal will show up to give you an item in exchange for your scallop
