Julian or Francine?

So a while ago I got Julian in a trade and while he's a precious babe I'm on the fence about how I really feel about him compared to how I feel about some of my other villagers, like my other smug sweetie Kidd. Not only that, as of lately I've really missed having a snooty ever since Greta and Ankha left and really like Francine's look.

At the same time I keep telling myself that I just need some time getting used to him since I do like him an his design, just not as much as I had hoped. Plus one of my friends has a cousin who wants him (though I don't plan on giving Julian to her anytime soon since she seems to really annoy my cousin) and I'm afraid if I trade him the friend will be angered.

So, who should I go with? The villagers who gets more votes or positive feedback don't guarantee that I'll keep/trade Julian, I'd just like to hear what anyone has to say.

I like both, but since you did say you need a snooty, I think you should go for Francine

Ahh, I expected Julian to get more votes but looks like most seem to agree with Francine! Plus just looking at this thread and thinking about her is starting to make me want her all the more heheh. I guess I'll consider getting him to ping today then, thank you all!

Julian in my opinion i thought i'd hate him after i got him after awhile but whenever i look at him i remember the feeling of excitement and AHMAHGAD UNICORN when i saw him in my camp when i started playing and i still love him so Julian.
And it doesnt seem right to have francine unless you have chrissy too they're like a package ya'know?

I've actually had Chrissy in the past but in truth all I could think of was how much I'd rather have Francine, I'm a huge blue fan and I already had Carmen, the only peppy (besides Ruby of course!) for me. And I actually had the same reaction especially after I saw a comic on tumblr had a headcanon that he was blind, but I guess the feeling hasn't stayed. He does have a lovely home.

Also wow, the vote for Julian certainly went up while I was gone! Of course the poll is meant to be personal preference whereas the actual thread answers is what matters to me and it seems most people think I should get Francine.
