Japanese Perfect Guide update?

Hi there. I just registered because I've seen posts talking about the Japanese "Perfect Guide", and I was wondering if anyone here know about this.

I ordered it, and I like it a lot. (It's the one with the snowy night scene on the sleeve). The only problem I have is that it was made before the Welcome Amiibo expansion, and thus, none of the new features or villagers info appear on it. Does anyone know if an update of the same quality was ever made? I am aware I might have to buy the whole guide again if that's the case.

There is a guide with all of the new items and customization in it, but I think it's probably be a different series than the Perfect Guide, though I'm not positive.

Here is a thread about it, with links to the guide and its contents. You should be able to tell whether it's a Perfect Guide update, or something else altogether.

Yeah, the links work now. However, the thread is talking about the book on the top left (from the first pic in the imgur album), and I think what I want is the one in the top right.

I'm almost 100%, just by looking at how the books look like. This is informative, though, so thank you for the links.

If anyone else knows about the other books and can confirm whether that's the one I want, it would be appreciated.

I have the book in the top right. I'm not familiar with the pre-update perfect guide to answer your question... Let me know if you wanted to see some pictures or anything.

Why do you use the Japanese version? just for the exclusive items?

I don't use the Japanese version of the game. I use the Japanese guide, because it is a good one.

@Pandapples Thank you. Hmm, I don't know. Do you have a picture where it shows villager data, for instance? That would let me see if it's the same format as the one I have. Thank you.
