Jacobs Ladders

Just a question I can't seem to find whilst researching,
When you have Jacobs ladders appear in your town?
Can they leave?
Like if I collect 10 of them, line them in a path to make it look nice?
When would they leave? If I don't water them or trample them?

Jacob's Ladders don't disappear once they've grown. They're just like regular flowers, you can move them around and replant them, and they also wilt like regular flowers, but if you water them daily they'll be fine.
