I finally have Animal Crossing New Leaf, though I have not yet unlocked the dream-house-thingy, I have time-jumped to progress further, and yes I know time-jumping is risky, but hey, my town, not yours. Anyway the town is called "Dabda", the name will make sense some day, if anyone has advice (that doesn't involve time-jumping) I'd be glad to hear it! One more thing, please tell me time-jumping doesn't affect online/streetpass play, because if it does I'm gonna be so disappointed.

Time-travelling does not affect online play in any way. Play online with someone whose town is set to 2030 and you'll have no issues whatsoever.
The only risks I can think of for time-travelling in New Leaf are:

- Travelling whilst you have turnips will cause them to rot instantly (though this can be bypassed with a friend or by going forwards with the system clock).
- Travelling far into the future will cause weeds.
- Travelling far into the future can often result in one villager moving out.
- Note that travelling backwards progresses your save file by one day.
Time-travelling doesn't affect streetpass or online play, but if you do time travel and want to keep your town for the majority of the time weed-free while you time skip i'd suggest enacting the beautiful ordinance. (This is unlocked when your mayoral approval is at 100%)
I'd also recommend unlocking as many things as you can while time travelling such as the island (you might wanna upgrade your house!)

Also, you may want to expand your house from a tent, because without this your approval rating won't go up all that much, because the game requires you to upgrade your characters tent to a house. Once you do this, you should then upgrade the house once again via nook, and then i'll unlock the island. You unlock the island the next day when Isabelle informs you there's a visitor for you and she then passes you over to Tortimer. The islands useful because this is where you can get rare bugs that you otherwise won't find in town and you can use it to fill your encyclopaedia and make bells. Hope this helped.

Some players have had problems with Club LOL when they TTed. They got the petition done and than jumped ahead.
The club didn't open for some. Some were a year in and still didn't have club LOL.

I got a Club LOL...maybe it's just one of those things that take a certain amount of days played, meaning if it takes 1 week to build than you'd have to spend a week in the game, 7 in-game days, not real days but in-game days. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense...oh and BTW I'm on April 15th now (yikes) a few things I want to get out of the way first:
- I made my town theme Megalovania and went to the Club when DJ K.K. was there. It could not be more perfect even if you tried.
- Villagers include: Kitty, Derwin, Alice, Harry, Pinky, Pietro, Lopez, Rudy. My favorite out of all of them might just be Pinky, not because she lives directly behind me but because she's so...pinky...I don't know, I sent her a letter that said this: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. Whatever flower is pink. That's you!" I sent her a purple and white diamond designed shirt, please help I've developed emotions for these animals.
- I don't know if anything happens if you give that child Kappa enough stuff, but she does give me bells, not a lot granted but they're still bells. Does anything happen if you give her stuff?
- I am currently building the Roost, I already have the second floor of the Museum, a fountain, a bench and a campsite, I would show you a map of my town but unfortunately I don't know how to do so...also, WHY DOES THE FENCE TAKE SO MUCH FLIPPIN SPACE?! I mean I get it's a fence but YEESH!
- I already have the 2nd floor of my house but it's a small room so...
- My dream code is 5200-6424-7022, if anyone is willing to tell me what the dream is like then please do so.
- My town fruit is 'cherry' but I have apples, lemons, durians, bananas, lychees and mangos, thank you Island tour.
- My ordinance is 'Beautiful"
I'm pretty sure that's it aside from some minor details that I don't think they matter right now. I really hope you all have time to check out Dabda some day. Woops...guess I hit the reply button too much, I was wondering why the computer kept telling me if I wanted to leave the page or not. Anyway, Kicks is currently being built along-side the Roost, next up: pay 298,000 bells to expand my house, I am making progress(I think).
