if i ignore hamphrey, cause he literally doesnt spawn in town anymore, will he ping me? D;

no, if you ignore villagers they wont ping

If he doesn't spawn in town, maybe he's sick? o: You should check on him. Sick villagers don't move out until they're better, by the way.

If you don't talk to him for more than 4 days, he won't ping you. But he will still move out on his own. You'll only find out via villager rumors.

he's probably on mainstreet somewhere. i mainly talk to marshal/stitches for my info since they closest to me but UGH HAMPHREY

DAY 1 - you load game and it triggers a moving ping
DAY 2 - you load game and it won't trigger
DAY 3 - you load and start having the possibility of pings

BUT the days 1,2,3 can be anything. the game will only look for a ping on the day you load. so what matters is not the number of days but the number of file loads.

hm, I didn't know that! If your friendship level is picture level then it might be easier that he will ping o: keep trying the 5 day trick or any other TT tricks! He'll have to eventually ping! Good luck~

I think they mean the TTing technique of keeping anyone from moving out while traveling to a far off future. Reject someone from moving and then moving forward for like 10 years will keep your same villagers.

But when you land in that future day, someone will definitely ping you to move. So what you do is TT at least 1 or 2 weeks ahead everytime you reject someone from moving.

Yeah, if you're already friends with him, it'll be faster if you talk to him everyday instead of ignoring him. Talk to him more than once, if you must. Do favors for him. That sort of thing.

Believe me, I've had villagers I wanted to move out move faster than when I ignore them using this method. xD I make them my best friends then just let them move.

Now this one depends. If it's close to an event they'll talk about events instead of a moving villager. On days like that you'll have to talk to them until they're sick of you. xD

This list might help though.

• Cranky: state that rumors can be frightening.
• Jock: ask to spread rumors about their latest world record, or complain that others say that they are a prince from another planet.
• Normal: comment that they will only spread rumors they have seen themselves.
• Smug:remark that they have done things with other villagers, but refuse to elaborate on the details.
• Snooty: use fabricated examples to show the player that simple rumors can spread very quickly.
• Uchi: complain that rumors are circulating that they are known for one sport, when it is in fact another.
• Peppy: ask the player for any gossip, think you are keeping something secret, and ask for you to spread the details.
