I use windows 7, and my Itunes takes about 30 minutes to load. When I get on Itunes, it lags like hell and I can't even get into the app store. My itouch is locked right now, and I remembered my password right after it got disabled. On my itouch screen, it tells me to connect it to Itunes.
I am willing to restore, but Itunes is being a *censored.4.0*. Help? :c

Try reinstalling iTunes I guess. Sorry, but that's all I can think of, I'm not good at solving this type of stuff :L.

Sounds like you have like a single core processor and less than a GB of ram or something.... even then, shouldnt be that slow... you probably have a virus tbh.

What else are you doing when trying to get onto itunes, maybe soemthing else is eating up the CPU usage.
Alos, you may have the wrong set up installed on your system.

Scanned my PC about 20 times, no viruses.
I have 227 GB. :C

RAM not memory. and viruses dont always show up.

Lets fix one thing at a time first. But I have a question, does iTunes take 30 minutes to boot or load?

Load.
Finally got into Itunes. It's loading a page. ;-;

What iTunes are you running? Also, have you tried running iTunes in Administration? I had to do this when I was using Windows XP but since I have had iTunes on Ubuntu it seems perfectly normal.

Have you tried downgrading? I can give you a link to a safe site where it has all the versions of iTunes. But if you have to have iTunes for your IOS then I wouldn't downgrade.

Please before you do this step, please check if you need iTunes 10 for your IOS. If you don't need it then go ahead and go to this site: http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php

Before downloading any of the iTunes you need to check if you are a 32 bit or a 64 bit. If you need help use this as a guide.
Start -> Control Pane -> System and Maintenance -> System. The System type: line will give you the Operating System type

if you're doing anything at all, itunes will take longer to load.

itunes is a bloated piece of *censored.2.0* if you don't have a computer that's powerful enough to make it run smoothly. may I suggest trying winamp, or another media player? it can sync your ipod as well, though i'm not sure how advanced/good it is to use. i tried it myself, and didn't care enough to try and fix it/just used it in the "fractured" state.

if you don't have a graphics card, a lot of things your computer does can be/get slow. if it's a laptop, you don't have much choice, though if you have a PC and don't mind opening up the comp, a check if you have a video/graphics card would be great, if you don't mind spending an extra $20 or so, depending on where you go/what size or whatnot. my comp didn't run well until i got mine, though mine's a bit out of range to buy just for itunes.

but processor speed, ram (should be around 3 gigs, hopefully), and all that should be adequate, or else you're going to run into some trouble with stuff like itunes.

Restored my itouch.
Still not working. The screen has a charger and that itunes icon on it. ;_;

Ever heard of a ghost file? Nasty little ********. There are many kinds. If you have one, it'd most likely be the one I had months ago. What it does is distribute the ram at a high percentage to one single program, lagging up the entire computer. You'd have to take it down to windows, but that sounds like what you have. That would happen to my email until I got it fixed. (Apple fixed it for free, btw. :D)

I wouldn't be surprised.

iTunes is bloated and a horrible media player imo

Every time I plug in my ipod.

Every. Time.
