It's so easy to make mistakes..

Ohey guys.. So I made a schoolboy error when it came to plot resetting Rocket.. Straight after my 16 cycle, so now I gotta do another!

Don't you just love things like that?

I could definitely cope with her house plot, but I really think she needs to go where I wanted her originally, so it's gotta happen.. Plus it'd be an opportunity to 16 cycle for Fang, considering I've liked him being in my town towards my 16 cycle..

But what's the biggest/silliest mistake you've ever made in New Leaf?

but uh my rookiest mistake was prob a) not knowing about plot resetting and getting renee in a bad spot or b) selling a bunch of cool unorderables bc I thought they were reorderable oo ps

...once i sold all my sharks to the little kappa on the island..when they said they didn't pay that much...I didn't know they meant THAT MUCH. also not until joining the forum...i didnt know you could put all the fruits together to make baskets....haha :/

I just lost Hans.....my 2nd favorite villager ever. Luckily I found someone who was willing to hold him in their town until he asked to move, so I could move him over to my side town, Tartarus. I would make the 16 villager cycle, but it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me due to having 8 dreamies obtained! Shari was the last one, but either Nana or Merengue will need to be put into Neo Mercury instead.

Not knowing how to TT safely. That threw Fuchsia out of my town by accident. I felt bad for a while.

I also sold some unorderables like debinoresu did. I don't mind that too much though, as it's fairly easy to get them back. And I don't even remember what the items were, so it's not like it's a big problem.

And last but not least, inviting Beau into my town when I was gonna go hunting for my remaining dreamies. That was dumb.

I got a dreamie free then loaded the game with my mayor like you and had to cycle 16 to get her back bc she landed right smack in the middle of my path

Deciding it would be a good idea to place my house in a tiny corner where there's no space to make a garden and making the path awkward. :/ I've made many rookie mistakes, but at the time I was so innocent...

i was villager resetting for my 9th villager and i kept resetting on the first day to make sure no one was moving in, i reset for about 10-15 times but then i was like 'meh i can't be bothered making another character just to delete them and make a big dirt spot' so i just loaded up my mayor thinking surely no one would move in.

nope! naturally they did!

it was tammy though so i'm not crazy bothered, i quite like her

Hm... Getting Lobo confused for Fang was a pretty silly mistake. I have 10 years of hazy memories to defend myself with... But it still took me 2 months to figure it out, and all the evidence was sitting there for me the whole time. I'm not sure I'm doing anything else I'm kicking myself for!

I suppose this game is easier if you don't care about dreamies or if you don't TT. XD
But I let a bunch of villagers move cuz I'm stupid and had no idea you have to cycle 16 to get them back.

I feel ya! I just got Diana, and I forgot to plot reset for her... She now lives alone right below my trainstation, by the river. I'm going to make it work though, she's my dreamie, I'm going to fight for her!

I didn't even think about map options so my first Main Town got a HORRIBLE one. Then I had no clue how to place PWP's so I screwed it up. I didn't know you had to work so darned hard to get a camper to move into your town even when you had an open spot so I accidentally let my first dreamies I ever saw escape. Then I would accidentally throw sharks back instead of bass, not take my first of every bug and fish to Blathers right away and then didn't know what the heck to give him later...

And on and on. I was SUCH a noob!

The BIGGEST mistakes Ive ever done (Both in my old town) where:

1- TTing Marshal into boxes, I stoped playing for like a day because I was just too sad about it D:
2- Building my Cafe too close to the bridge, then tearing the bridge down to rebuild it. It was literaly the last straw for me to reset the town!

I think the dumbest thing I did in ACNL was where I placed everything in my town. My campsite and two of my permanent villagers are located along the river. I cannot build any bridges unless they're on the right side of town.

i've tted out a couple dreamies (filbert, lily, and diana, cycled/cycling for the first two and decided to get diana in a second town instead of cycling for her). also placed my mayor's house way too close to the town hall because i thought it'd be convenient for when i want to build/demolish pwps, but the house is just in a really awkward place. also put my police station in a horrible spot :\
