You cannot knock someone for being proud of something they can do. If it is expressed in poor taste , or conversely, the opposite person is simply envious, then that is on them.

To some extent yes, but if you always want people to recognize your talent or your "material" that you are talking about or bring it up in a conversation alot it can be bragging.

yeah I definitely agree with it to an extent. If i've spent years of my life perfecting a talent i'd want to at least talk about it. If they're bragging excessively or trying to make other people look bad, then thats a **** move, but why not be proud of your achievements?
