Items disappearing?

Has anyone else had issues with items completely vanishing since the halloween update? my friend and i are both suffering from this. Apparently the game is updating currently, so maybe they're fixing it, but i'm so sick of losing materials after crafting something and having it disappear completely.

Hm, I haven't noticed anything go missing. Granted, I don't really have much of value to be lost so I may not have noticed anything.

Were you visiting their island? If you visit and disconnect, anything you guys gathered or did would be lost because it wasn't saved.

I haven't noticed anything gone missing in my game.

Did you check the box at residence services? I found some items I didn't even realize were missing last time I checked
