item limit in a room

i'm trying to make a school and i want to put in a ton of items, but i keep hitting the limit!! it's so annoying!! idk what i'm going to do about it, I might swap the middle chairs and tables to sofas and double tables... it probably won't look as good though ):

I've never actually hit the item limit in ACNL. Back in WW, I hit it ALL the time.

I've never really hit it when making rooms other than storage before this happened. i didn't even hit the limit when i did the hha theme challenge and filled a room with stuff :I

I'll have to work around it I guess!! still don't really understand why it exists but oh well ):<

same, but that's because i use them as storage :I it's really annoying, but yeah, I guess you have to change plans and try out new things when you hit the limit )x

yeah i think so too. it gets really annoying and i really don't see why it exists?? like why not let us do what we want in our rooms :<

I like to keep my rooms fairly light on the furniture side so I've never hit the item limit. Never done it in previous games either.
