I actually am thinking about getting the game now, it looks a lot of fun even though I won't have any online access.
I do hope animals don't move without saying anything and the character that greets you won't be Isabelle or nook (I would prefer Isabelle over nook).

It looks a lot better now that I've had time to get used to it. I don't think villagers will leave without saying anything anymore, especially how this game is set up. Someone in another thread had a great point about how villagers might start on your island with a tent and if you don't mind them leaving, you keep them in a tent, and those you'd like to keep you're able to build a house for. I would really like it if the person who greeted you at the beginning was a villager from your town again.
