The technology part of the game is definitely very strange, but I think the phone menu and the phone case options are very good. I don't think our laptops connect to anything though.

You can craft a friggin' moon with a couple of star fragments but you can't contact your residents or Willbur at the airport via your phone or send them letters efficiently.

It's a little annoying every time a person has a genuine complaint about a game in a series they've been playing for fifteen years, to be told by someone who knows nothing about me, or my gaming history, that 'this isn't the game for you'.

Get some new material, or just don't post comments like that. :-/

I understand the annoyance of those kind of responses and typically try to stay away from them. I am sorry if I am interpreting this wrong from many posts I have seen from you, you seem very dissatisfied by multiple features of New Horizons. Of course we don't know anything about each other but unfortunately that doesn't stop assumption being made base on what we have posted. It may be something we agree or disagree with.

Many other people are equally disappointed by many things, but if we didn't care so much about the game, we wouldn't be bothered by it's shortcomings.

You can only be disappointed by something you have real feelings about, and therefore it is annoying to be told otherwise.

Have a look at the rant threads and the like. I hardly post in it, so maybe focus on someone else.

I like the game, or I wouldn't be playing it.
I do post about aspects that I'm pleased with.

What does the Nookphone and it's apps, have to do with my house?

I said the game is full of mobile phones/internet/technology, and I play AC to escape that daily grind.

I'm replying to a topic, not entering a debate.
