Issue with ACNL new update

My system let me know that I can't go to other towns until my game is up to date. Updated the dang thing and it won't load past the 3ds screen. I uninstalled the update and everything is honky dorey, except....still can't go to other people's towns.

Any fix for this? Anyone else having this same issue?

You def won't be able to visit people who've updated if you haven't updated. But as far as your update issue, you could try calling Nintendo. I had a problem with the update myself (a different kind) and the person I spoke to was very nice. She tried to help as much as she could but it seemed I was the only one having that specific issue so sbe offered me a discount if I were to send it in to be checked, since I no longer had coverage. However, your problem seems to be more common. If you don't find a solution here, try calling and explaining. Maybe there is something they can have you do that would help?

Well, it's not like I can't play. I'd just really like to spend some tbt on villagers, and I keep getting the same error. Thanks for the positivity/feedback. I might give nintendo a call at some point.
