ISO two of my favorite villagers, but...

I am new to bell tree forums and I don't quite know how to do this yet. I would like to trade for my favorite villager but I don't know how to trade or if I have anything worth trading. Do I add people as friends to trade with them? Any help is much appreciated. P.S. My dream villagers I am looking for are: Apple, Bluebear, Bones, Bunnie, Chai, Cheri, Chevre, Erik, Fauna, Felicity, Filbert, Frita, Goldie, Henrey, Hopkins, Hugh, Ione, Jacob, Ketchup, Marina, Mitzi, Pietro, Poppy, and Tia. Hey! In the New Neighbour Network there are multiple cycling threads where you can request to buy villagers for a small amount of tbt (this forum's currency; there's a good thread about it here)
Otherwise, in the same forum, you can post a looking for thread, and list what you have to offer: in game bells, items from people's wishlists, nmt, etc.
Or you can keep an eye out of people giving away those villagers that you're after, although ofc it's not guaranteed if/when they'll be offered.
