As soon as Tom turned to walk back to the town hall, with Isabelle following close behind, her face looking slightly green, it was none other than Vesta who sprang into action.
“What are you just standing there for?” She asked the crowd of shocked faces, who still stared after Mr. Nook. “We should be talking about this! It could be any of you lot! You! Or you!” She pointed towards Dobie, then Poncho.
“That’s out of line,” Raymond said, stepping forward. “You can’t be accusing people out of nowhere. We need to think about this properly, try and figure stuff out, not offer up a random neck for the chopping block.”
“Maybe we can not start arguing like this? It won’t help,” Pietro said. Stitches nodded in agreement. Vesta sighed.
“Okay, Raymond’s right. But you heard Tom. Playing his little game is our only chance of surviving.”

Cherry was the kind of girl who posted cute selfies on FaceNook with the caption ‘#iwannadie’, but in reality, she was very, very scared of death. When the group put her forward as the choice for the elimination, her adrenaline kicked in and she ran, running in the opposite direction as far as her legs could carry her.
“Where are you going, idiot?” A voice called out after her. “We’re on an island, where could you possibly go?”
Cherry didn’t listen, she kept running in a straight line, through the town, through the woods, out onto the beach, not stopping until she was waist-deep in the cold ocean water.
“And what do you plan on doing now?” A voice asked. Cherry turned. In the lifeguard chair back on the beach sat Tom Nook, a pair of binoculars around his neck and a rifle lying across his lap.
“How did-”
“I know all of you far too well, Cherry. I knew you’d run. You coming to the west beach was a stroke of luck, I will admit, but even if I was wrong, you couldn’t have gotten far.”
“N-No, I-I…”
“Go ahead. Run. I’ll get you anyway. Or you can stand there and take it like a big girl.”
Cherry paused for a moment. Tom took this as her steadying herself, but as he shifted his rifle, she turned and ran a little deeper, diving into the water and vanishing beneath the waves.
It didn’t matter. The ocean was mostly clear, and the waves were calm. She felt the bullet pass through her and saw the waters turn red in front of her. The last thing she remembered was the stinging of salt in her wound and the sight of a large finned shadow heading her way.

You now have 24 hours to submit any night actions. Day 2 should begin at 4pm EST on the 23rd - night kills are a little harder to pre-write depending on when mafia submits their kill so if I am late I apologize. If I am severely late, I will amend EOD/EON time accordingly.
