Island Layout decision +

I am not sure I chose the best initial island layout. I doubt in the future I will change anything though terraforming because I just dont have an eye for design. So with working with what I have where would you suggest putting the museum? It's in an awkward spot right now.

You could move the museum to the top of the map if you don't like where it currently is. I actually really like this layout; I'm a fan of layouts with islands in them, and this one has a big one.

You could put it near your pier beside the lake? Once you fill up your museum, you probably won't need to visit it much (unless you like to go there a lot!) If you do like going there a lot, maybe the middle island? It could be a main feature for your island?

Trust me, you'll terraform. I told myself the same thing, but now it's second nature. I only do it when my brain goes on a roll, and once it stops, I stop.

I'd place your museum somewhere easily accessible. You can always move it later once it's full. Mine is placed next to Resident Services near the front of my map.

Thanks for all the input! I have sooo many trees still. Should I chop all my non fruit bearing ones down?? Its just so many trees!

You could do that, or you could eat fruit and move them while you figure things out. Do you have all the fruit?

Yes I have all the variety of fruit trees now which has added to the volume of trees. I moved all of the ones off the main part of the island for now while I decide how I want to decorate!

Then you're on your way. Don't rush into anything. You'll end up regretting a change, then be one of the umpteen number of people that create a thread asking if they should reset.

don’t chop your regular trees!! they’re the only ones that turn pink in april ;~;

personally i’d place the museum in that little dip against the cliff right in the middle, to the right of the big island.
