Isabelle Resetting a Villager’s House

I bought a villager off someone today, and I’m worried about having her have gifted furniture since I saw the villager wear different clothing. I’ve been thinking and I would argue that one of the best changes they could add is to have Isabelle reset a villager’s house to the default.

I’m surprised they haven’t done this already, but I hate how if you gift a villager something, that it’s permanent. I also hate how you can’t really do delivery requests or give presents without worrying about the villager looking ugly in the future. I’ve also had voided villagers come to my island with 4+ bugs in their house. It’s just a big pain.

Also, does Isabelle’s complaining even work? I’ve tried to complain to her multiple times about ugly clothing, but it never seems to last.

House resetting is my biggest wish at this point.

Isabelle pretty much doesn't work in regards to resetting clothing as a whole. The only time that function actually works is with custom designs obtained in their previous home. For any other type of outfit... prepare to talk to Isabelle regularly.

I agree, I'd LOVE a chance to reset their homes/fashion. It'd also let you gift freely without worrying about not being able to find people to buy/trade for the villagers in the future.

Though, as long as we're talking about things we'd like to see implemented- I'd LOVE to, maybe as a reward for reaching the top level of friendship, have the ability to DESIGN the interior of a villager's home, Happy Home Designer style! How amazing would that be?
