Isabelle is seriously the worst.

So I finally got a villager to move out of my main town so I could finally get my 10 favorite dreamie villagers.

Here's the story.

So Tia finally asks to move out.
Someone adopted Tia.

FINALLY I CAN GET WILLOW MY LAST DREAMIE!

Willow was in my cycling town. I was holding her their so when this glorious day came I could cycle her out and put her into my main town!

I have my main town on a downloadable version and my cycling town on a physical copy.
I put my physical copy into another ds so I could go pick up Willow.
I loaded up the game and tt'd to Willows moving date.

Isabelle loaded up the game and i don't know how or what happened but Isabelle had tt'd the date 2 days forward from Willows moving date making her stuck in the void.

I am devastated.
I went to my cycling town hoping to pick her up from the void.....
But that didn't happen. I ended up picking up a villager from 3 days ago that I had voided in my cycling town.

I am super sad and angry at acnl. I don't know how this even happened and why Isabelle decided to be stupid and make Willow go to the void.

Now I'm sadly going to have to tt my main town again hoping that the new villager will move and not risk making any of my 9 dreamies move.

And I have to find Willow again. My god I'm upset.

Ahhhh well. I have 3 towns and I manage my sister's, so I keep track things on a spreadsheet. Isabelle shouldn't be able to load a particular day unless you tell her to.

Always check the time and date before loading the town. If it's incorrect then Isabelle can change it!

I am so sorry that stinks.... I'm surprised your newest voided wasn't the one who was picked up in your cycle though? Perhaps you connected with someone else in the meantime that may have taken her in? I had always thought the newly voided were the ones usually picked up first but I guess not.

Switching between 3dses can be kinda tricky if they're not all set to the exact time, so if you play at one time on one 3ds and switch to another 3ds with different time, it will change you acnl by the difference. My kids would switch their 3dses all kinds of ways and it would totally throw me off, especially when I wasn't paying attention and loaded.

I set the date manually on the ds first and for some reason Isabelle changed it when loading up. I cycle all the time and I understand about changing the date and time but this was a shock to me and I still don't understand that.

I also thought the last villager that was voided was the one that could be picked up. But I guess not. Im not at fault here. I did everything right and for some reason this is the first time this has ever happened. Im confused and sad.

I have Willow if you want her from my town once she moves?

Please please please please <3 I'd love her! i am trying my hardest right now to cycle out the villager that moved in instead of Willow. Thank you so much!

This explains it, then. The game only uses the 3DS calendar to see how much time has passed. It doesn't adjust to the time change automatically unless it matches up in the first place. If your game date was a couple of days ahead or behind, when you adjusted the 3DS time, it automatically calculated that and then the extra days.

It's not guaranteed that your newest voided villager will be the one that gets passed on since the void can hold multiple villagers.
