I've never deleted my town so I didn't know she did this. But yeah, that does sound pretty sinister...XD

I recently reset my first town (for want of a better map), and yeah. She gets all freaked out for about three seconds and is then all, "Okay BAI!!!" with a big grin on her face.

But then, I've never been a big fan of Isabelle...

I was deleting an alt character from plot resetting and I just thought "holy crap that's wrong" when she did that...

She wants to say goodbye with a smile. She wants her last moment with you to have a shred of happiness.

She's probably holding back tears, but she's forcing a smile just so you won't feel bad for having to see her cry.
